Today has been incredibly hectic for the team as we juggle several tasks simultaneously. Here's a detailed breakdown of our progress:
New Sign-Up/Sign-In Flow
- Simplified Process: Users only need to enter their phone number.
- Dynamic Handling: Backend logic determines if the user is new or returning.
- New User Experience: New users are directed to a referral screen, followed by an OTP screen.
- Improved OTP Screen: The OTP screen now covers the entire screen, enhancing usability.
Deep Linking in the Referral Module
- Seamless Navigation: Deep linking allows users to be directed to specific screens or content within the app via a URL.
- Enhanced User Experience: Referral links take users directly to the referral screen, even if the app isn't installed, reducing steps and boosting engagement.
Minor Enhancements
- Performance Improvements: Various minor enhancements to improve overall app performance and user experience.
- There are few other enhancements as well to improve the security and overall user experience of the application.
TestFlight Issue Resolved
- Issue Resolution: The TestFlight error from Apple, which had been a challenge for the past week, has been resolved.
- Successful Testing: The latest build was successfully tested on TestFlight with no major bugs.
- Update Rollout: The updates have been rolled out to the Apple Store, ensuring a smoother experience for iOS users.
Huawei Cloud Update
- Near Completion: The BlockDAG X1 application is almost ready for Huawei Cloud release.
- Policy Compliance: Finalizing small updates to comply with Huawei's policies.
- Resubmission Tomorrow: The application will be resubmitted tomorrow.
- Exciting Launch: Preparing to launch on Huawei Cloud, bringing features to a wider audience. Stay tuned for the big release!
Blockchain Explorer Updates
- Testing Phase: Our developers are diligently writing and compiling comprehensive test cases to ensure robustness.
- User Capabilities:
- View Blocks: Users will be able to view the block details, including the block hash, previous block hash, timestamp, and list of transactions included in each block.
- View Transactions: Detailed transaction information such as transaction ID, sender and receiver addresses, amount, and transaction status will be accessible.
- Dummy Transactions: Users can perform dummy transactions using a faucet to test the application, providing a practical understanding of transaction flows and block confirmations.
- Technical Aspects:
- API Integration: Seamless integration with the BlockDAG API to fetch real-time blockchain data.
- Data Visualization: Use of advanced data visualization tools to represent blockchain data in an intuitive and user-friendly manner.
- Security Measures: Implementation of security protocols such as SSL encryption and API rate limiting to ensure data integrity and protect against malicious activities.
